What we’d like you to do:

As our Manager of New Business, you will develop and drive our sales strategy in order to acquire new clients so as to achieve our collective revenue goals. Every day, you’ll find new leads, meet with potential clients, and close deals. You’ll work closely with our global sales team, with a medium-term opportunity to lead the team as it grows. To thrive in this role, you should be familiar with CRM’s (like SalesForce), and have prior experience selling digital marketing services (especially Conversion Rate Optimization, analytics, or similar).

What we’d like you to bring:

  • You’re looking for the next step in your sales career. You’ve been there, done that - BDR, SDR, Account Executive – and you’ve grown out of your current role. Now, you’re looking to manage a full-sales cycle and truly own the development of the US Sales Region. You look forward to the opportunity to step up and join our leadership team down the road.
  • Prior experience:
    1. Selling medium-large digital marketing contracts, or selling an optimization tool (existing client portfolio a plus)
    2. Identifying and solving digital business problems via experimentation platforms like Monetate, Google Analytics, etc.
    3. Working in an agency environment
You will:
  • Build a global pipeline and strategize on how to approach targeted accounts
  • Identify, prospect key contacts at target accounts and build the foundations for a strong, long lasting relationship
  • After a new business opportunity is identified, working over the different steps of the sales process: discovery, negotiation, and closing
  • Execute appropriate strategies by building out right content i.e.. case studies, screencasts, presentations, demo of Making Science products
  • Be an active part of the team, sharing best practices and participating in the Sales Development organization's projects
  • Manage, track and report sales activities and results
